Coffee Bench © by Karolina Tylka
Coffee bench © designed by Polish designer, Karolina Tylka and manufactured in Poland. The idea is about supporting the intelligent use of space. Inspiration comes from the need to have coffee in the garden and there is no space to put a cup or a newspaper. Space between chairs and tables are adjusted by rotating the bench element.
Coffee bench © is a smart idea of modular furniture that can be used both indoors and outdoors. For indoor use, there is a “soft” version where the seat surface is finished with leather or felt.
Coffee bench © is located on the first thought as garden furniture but can also be used for different public spaces such as lobbies, halls, squares and parks.
Coffee bench © manufactured in various lengths, from 1 to 3 meters and the possibility of various materials. Moving elements can be made of plywood, MDF, plastic injection-molded, cellulose and honeycomb cardboard. The frame made of galvanized or stainless steel.
Coffee bench © presented at 100% DESIGN in London and INTERIEUR 2010 in Kortrijk Belgium, 15 – 24 October.
