Cassiopeia by Steve Watson
The Cassiopeia is a large glass top dining table with a cold rolled aluminum legs and sloping edge. Base dramatic sculptures formed from three laser cut cold-rolled aluminum strengthens together in a structure reminiscent of elliptical orbit pattern.
Tabletop is triangle part of toughened glass with the curved edge. The Cassiopeia is a design that pays homage to the architectural structure. It also plays with perception, like visual tricks. Cleverly conceived legs details make the table look both heavy and light, depending on the angle it is viewed from.
