Plus Egg Chair by Emma Selzer
Emma Selzer, a student at Plus Architecture has designed an egg-like chair to be used at a residential development in South Yarra, Australia.
The chair is made from 110 pieces of lazer-cut plywood, glued together. Pods hanging from the ceiling, but have a bolt and screw under the seat to secure it. Each pod can rotate 360 degrees.
Each chair has an arm rest/table built inside for convenience.
Emma Selzer’s Egg Chair offers a dome of privacy for the user. When grouped together, pods resemble seed fall from the tree.
Plus Architecture is a company based in Southbank, Australia, which design recreational, housing, commercial and retail space.
