Burj Dubai Interior Design by SOM
The interior design of the lobby, public and common space for the tower, designed by SOM (Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP), attended an aesthetics confluence of the best of interior design and architectural influences from around the world and the Arab region. The interior design of the Burj Dubai is conceptualized by the SOM to complete the external architecture of the tower. Interior design work to achieve two main goals – to recognize and acknowledge building’s epoch marking height, the structure and architecture rationale and challenges, and to appreciate the location and area of heritage, history and culture.
