Malibu Home Design by Kanner Architects
This stunning Malibu home incorporated many design practices that exist today. The house is known as the Malibu 5 project of Kanner Architects. Building materials consists of environmentally friendly and recycled materials. Houses are stacked vertically on a hillside in Malibu, California with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. The use of energy for the home minimized by the large windows that use solar protected so that limited artificial lighting needs. To harvest the sun’s energy, this home use solar photovoltaic roof panels harbors. Concrete floor surface to act as heat sinks draw energy during the day and then release it at night. At the time the room is not used, motion sensors ensure that lights are not lit. The result is amazing, that the house was contribute power back to the local electricity network. This Malibu house consists of 3300 square meters, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
