GETIER Bench by Thomas Perz and Petrus Gartler
Thomas Perz and Petrus Gartler of Designerei Graz designed GETIER Bench to add a bit of artistic flair and modern design to the public park bench that is usually dull and boring.
This bench was chosen from 51 entries in the competition called “Design of Public Spaces” along with one other design with the name “Design GRA-Z” by Johanna Prechtl.
Each bench is locked into place with a strong chain. This chain has little slack to allow users of the bench a little individuality where they want to sit. Limited in movement, but moving all the same. Each bench is made of powder coated stainless steel and Iroko, weather-resistant wood that is known for his superior against deformation.
