The Moon System sofa is designed by Zaha Hadid, world famous architect, whose work for several years in exploring the complexity of curved geometry. The sofa designed for B&B Italia in purple, black and gold, to resemble the moon with orbiting curved foot rest just like the moon.
Moon system uses a soft corner with a contour view, a single block sofa – given the back, armrest and cushions, look as though they were carved from a padded meteor.
No less a metallic sheen, Hadid recommends placing pure black or gold sofa in the middle of the room to give smooth, almost theatrical quality with an asymmetrical curve that changes from a different viewpoint.
