Yata Stool by Naoki Hirakoso is a beautiful stackable stool that can be converted into a multi-layered coffee table or even a shelving unit.
Each stool fits together like a puzzle piece, and can be arranged as a shelving unit without using any tools, because the stool leg end is cut in part so that when stacked, the part will be locked with a stool beneath it.
Naoki Hirakoso currently works from Tokyo, Japan. He had previously been based in Milan, and has been known to take part in exhibitions in Europe.
